- Share your anonymized location data. If you have the Zero Plan, you’re required to do this, which means you’ll be automatically raking in points. If you’re on the Air or Infinity Plans, you can opt in or out of this, but to get those Cloud Points, opt in!
Once you have earned 250 Cloud Points, spend them how you want!
Once you reach 250 Cloud Points (just one referral to Helium Mobile under your belt) you’ll be able to spend what you’ve earned in the Cloud Store.
🌟 Gift cards galore. Treat yourself to eGift cards for travel, dining, shopping, and streaming.
💚 Give back. Support a cause you care about by turning your points into a donation to non-profit organizations.

Cloud Points: Our Way of Rewarding You for Improving the Network
Cloud Points are rewards Helium Mobile subscribers earn. They’re our way of paying you back for sharing your anonymized location data, which we combine with our own network knowledge to improve coverage for Americans.
Subscribers to the Zero Plan are required to share this data. Think of it like this: You get free phone service, we get anonymized data that helps build more and better coverage for mobile users across the U.S.

Need more than just the Zero Plan? Our Air Plan ($15/month for 10GB of data, unlimited texts and calls) and Infinity Plan ($30/month for unlimited everything) give you more data, and both allow you to opt out of location sharing if you want—you just won’t earn Cloud Points.
Most carriers are already collecting and SELLING your location data without your consent, often leading to data breaches and poor outcomes. We at Helium Mobile strive to be transparent: We're not selling your data. We use your anonymized data to improve cellular coverage for all Americans, and give you something in return for that: You’re rewarded in Cloud Points. Learn more about how your data is secure here.

How do I earn Cloud Points?
These are ways you can earn Cloud Points:
- Refer a friend to Helium Mobile with your unique code, and you’ll both earn 250 Cloud Points. Find your referral code in the App.

If I’m sharing my anonymized location data in exchange for Cloud Points, how is it being used?
Helium Mobile does not sell your location data to third-party advertisers. Ever.
Location data is immediately anonymized and sent to a secure location: a latitude, longitude, and a subscriber identifier that does not contain names, addresses, or phone numbers. It gets stored and processed in a secured location in the cloud with limited access. The precise location is then scaled up to a less precise latitude/longitude aggregated with other subscribers’ location information and then displayed on the map. The data displayed on the map is on at least a 24-hour time delay and aggregated over the past 30+ days of information. Learn more about how your data is used securely here.
