Introducing the Helium Mobile Community Coverage Grant Program

At Helium Mobile, we’re always looking for ways to build the Helium Network and encourage the movement of people-powered connectivity. We’ve seen incredible success so far from our active “Builders” (people who deploy Hotspots and grow the Network), and we’re always looking for new ways to encourage our community to continue that growth — and further incentivize them while they do it.

We also understand how critical Builders are to sustaining and growing the Network. These dedicated individuals and organizations understand the value of creating a robust, people-powered, decentralized network and solving the problem of coverage redundancy in their communities.

That’s why we’re launching what we’re calling the Community Coverage Grant Program to facilitate professional builders who want to continue building momentum.

What is it?

The Community Coverage Grant Program is our way of empowering professional Builders to provide coverage in areas where it's needed most. We’ll be offering a grant to Builders who procure and deploy verified coverage in community locations that benefit the Helium Network the most — think 100+ Helium Mobile Hotspots deployed in high-traffic locations, like hotels and stadiums, where more people will be able to connect to the Network.

With the program, Builders can now propose deploying in specific high-traffic locations that will benefit from significant coverage. Based on the potential impact of those locations, participants may be eligible to receive a grant of up to 50% of the hardware purchase price.

It’s a win-win: the Helium Mobile Network gains impactful coverage, and deployers are further rewarded for building that coverage.
