Update: CBRS Spectrum Access System Fees
CBRS Spectrum Access System Fees

Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) radio owners that purchased their device from FreedomFi, Baicells or MosoLabs prepaid their Spectrum Access System (SAS) provider service fees for 12 months with their initial device activation. These prepaid services have been fulfilled for the majority of CBRS owners.

We understand that transitioning to a paid SAS service requires some adjustment. This is why we are providing a transition period and notifying CBRS radio owners that have expired prepaid SAS fees now.

Beginning August 1 2024, CBRS owners with expired prepaid SAS fees must start the process of transitioning and paying for their SAS fees. To continue uninterrupted service, builders will need to initiate their service account by July 31, 2024.

Action Required: Check whether your prepaid services have been fulfilled by visiting the payment section of your Hotspot Dashboard.

To continue enjoying uninterrupted service, a valid payment method for expired prepaid SAS fees is required by July 31. On August 1, 2024, expired prepaid SAS CBRS radios that have not updated their subscription will no longer provide access to the Helium Network. CBRS owners with additional time remaining on their prepaid SAS fees must input their payment information by the last day of their prepaid SAS service.

How to Set Up Payments: Setting up your payment method is simple. Starting today, you can log in to your Hotspot Dashboard account, navigate to the Payments section, and follow the instructions to add your preferred payment method. If you have any questions or need assistance, our customer support team is ready to help.
