While Helium Mobile subscribers get wireless coverage from our partner network (the nation’s largest, fastest 5G network), they’re also covered by the people-built Helium Network.

Our journey began with the launch of the world's first decentralized wireless network. We leveraged blockchain technology to build a network powered by everyday users rather than traditional telecom infrastructure. This approach allows us to offer competitive pricing and unparalleled coverage, while creating a truly people-powered network.
Helium Mobile is taking the lead on decentralized physical infrastructure by empowering anyone to participate in building network infrastructure and earning rewards in the process.
Our growth has accelerated rapidly since we first introduced the mobile plan for Miami residents in August 2023 and expanded nationwide in December. We started 2024 with 30,000 customers and now, we've reached 100,000. At a time of high inflation and rising costs for phone and data plans, it's clear that customers are looking for something different and they are finding it with Helium Mobile.

- February 2024: Helium Mobile passes the 45,000 sign-up mark. Partnered with Google Pixel on phone, plan, and Hotspot bundles
- March 2024: New features like International Roaming and updates to Discovery Mapping launch.
- April 2024: Helium Mobile passes the 85,000 sign-up mark. Whoosh!
- May 2024: Group Plans, Boosted Locations in LA, and the Helium Mobile Tour.
- June 2024: Unveiled #GOLDENSUMMER, Boosted Locations in NYC, and the Tech Stack Licensing Program.
- July 2024: Helium Mobile passes the 100,000 sign-up mark.
